To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Strategic Planning Intern located in our Salt Lake City, Utah site.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the student will be responsible for maintaining materials / purchasing data, supply data and information to other production departments, assisting with coordination of contracts, maintaining Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers, and creating and maintaining outsources parts schedules.
What a typical day looks like :
- Collects, compiles, analyzes and presents various types of data and assists in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the analysis of data
- Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on analysis of data from multiple sources and assists with data audits and identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics
- Suggests process / communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities
- Tracks materials, financial performance, and initiates corrective actions when required
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
