- Greet and assist members in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Promote membership benefits and upsell additional services or products to enhance member satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are welcoming for members.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette to handle incoming calls, providing information and resolving issues as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Stay informed about store promotions, products, and services to effectively communicate with members.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store or similar environment.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products or services effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Basic math skills required for cash handling and transaction processing.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
