Primary Responsibilities : Perform maintenance on Genesis Heads and Flexadux Dies. Support running of samples for new product development and current process or product improvement. Develop and recommend improvements in production equipment, manufacturing methods, and materials. This position will require flexible hours including evenings and weekends as dictated by the production schedule. A minimum of 40 hours will be scheduled each week and overtime will be required.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities : 1. Tooling maintenance – Genesis Head and Flexadux Extrusion Dies. 2. Set up sheet Maintenance – Support the development and update of set up sheets. 3. Sample support –Ability to organize and track samples. 4. Documentation – maintenance of department documentation. 5. Support process development – support product engineer related to the Flexadux process. 6. Moisture analysis – Ensure drying equipment is achieving the desired result by testing the pellets. 7. Screw / barrel Inspections – Support all screw measurement activities. 8. Assist in scheduling of samples. 9. Support organization and availability of appropriate tools and tooling. 10. Assist in the analysis of production methods and develops manufacturing standards for production machines. 11. Assist with implementation of machinery, changes to machinery, and / or manufacturing processes and techniques. 12. Assist with evaluation, measurement, and implementation of improvements in the production process. 13. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
