About the Position
As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to operate CT scanners, adjust settings as needed to ensure optimal image quality, and position patients for scanning.
Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography scans on patients of varying ages and medical conditions
- Operate CT scanners, adjusting settings as needed to ensure optimal image quality
- Position patients for scanning, taking into account their specific needs and requirements
- Administer contrast media, following established protocols and guidelines
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history and scan results
Requirements
- Active certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in radiography or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in computed tomography imaging
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
