Position Summary
The Clinic Manager provides direct patient care, operational oversight, and staff guidance for the clinic(s) in their designated area. This role supports daily clinic operations.

Job Duties
- Provides direct patient care in the form of evaluating and documenting patient clinical assessments and IV therapy as aligned with company, federal, and state policies for both pediatric and adult patients.
- Prepares/compounds sterile admixtures for immediate use per manufacturer recommendations.
- Communicates with physicians and other health care providers on clinical services-related issues.
- Administers necessary medications as necessary to mitigate acute infusion reactions, under the supervision of a FlexCare Advanced Practice Provider or Physician.
- Administers prescribed intravenous and subcutaneous medications and biologics, adhering to prescriber orders and applicable FDA dosing parameters.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the health care process (self, systems, environment, and instrumentation) in meeting clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrates awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and clinical operations functioning.
- Provides infusion therapy under the scope of FlexCare policies and procedures to ensure coordination and safe delivery of care.
- Assists the clinical team in the entry, review, and validation of prescriber orders received by faxed referral or verbal order.
- Assists in the review of lab work drawn on site, and the reporting of any critical values to the referring provider.
- Assists in overseeing patient scheduling activities in the designated clinic(s).
- Oversees and optimizes clinic-based staffing schedules.
- Oversees Buy & Bill inventory and assists Inventory Specialists with Specialty Pharmacy inventory as needed.
- Maintains routine reporting via EMR to evaluate clinic documentation practices.
- Assists with monitoring and maintaining ongoing ACHC Accreditation requirements.
- Assists with the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that support clinic staff and patient care.
- Proactively identifies staffing needs based on growth trends and individual clinic needs.
- Manages all administrative and clinical hiring needs in the designated clinic(s).
- Assists in the selection, orientation, and ongoing training of clinic staff.
- Assists Inventory Specialists to manage drug inventory storage per manufacturer requirements, including management of storage controls and any out-of-range remediation/remediation coverage.
- Serves as the first-line clinical resource for clinic staff and referral sources.
- Manages employees by establishing performance goals, allocating resources, and maintaining an appropriate staffing ratio.
- Ensures that clinic staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, and participate in continuing education as required to provide safe and professional services to our patients.
- Ensures that all patient-related documentation and clinical reports are accurately completed, submitted, and/or filed promptly according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process.
- Assists the Senior Clinic Manager and/or Director of Clinical Services in ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery by monitoring onsite clinical operations and initiating changes where required.
- Participates in planning, decision-making, and implementation of office activities that affect clinic operations.
