Title: Respiratory Therapist
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Reports To: Clinic Manager
Position Summary:
Respiratory Therapist to perform PFT’s and other respiratory therapy procedures and diagnostic tests as prescribed by physicians. Upload PFT’s in the EMR, schedule tests, provide information needed for billing and reporting. Other clinic related tasks assigned.

Job Duties
- Evaluate patients with respiratory conditions by reviewing medical history, conducting physical exams, and performing diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
- Perform non-invasive procedures, such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), stress tests, and Holter monitor testing, to assess heart and lung function.
- Analyze diagnostic results and provide detailed reports to physicians for further interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and perform routine equipment checks.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient
- Monitor patients during procedures and tests, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Coordinate and manage patient scheduling for diagnostic tests, treatments, and follow-up appointments, ensuring optimal workflow and minimal wait times.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clinical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with business needs.
Required Minimum Job Qualifications, Experience, Education and Training
Education: Graduate of accredited Respiratory Therapy training program.
Experience: 1 years as licensed Respiratory Therapist
Computer Skills: General Computer skills, Microsoft office products, EMR
Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience: 1 year performing PFT’s
