We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Manager, Safety & Environmental role. Management of Health & Safety Processes for FLEXcon North America. Liaison with Government Agencies (Federal, state, local). Plays a leadership role in the company with respect to compliance to regulations and driving the lean safety process and a continuous Improvement, culture, and process sustainability.

What will you do in this role?
- Coordinate and oversee Health & Safety & activities in NE and KY locations
- Stay current on regulations to ensure compliance to:
- Air Quality Standards and Reporting
- New Source Performance Standards
- RCRA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) for Hazardous Waste Management
- TURA Activities (Toxic Use Reduction Act)
- OSHA/NFPA and other applicable Fed/State/Local regulatory standards
- Oversee Safety Training Programs (i.e. Hazard Communication, Forktrucks, LO/TO, others)
- Coordination and maintenance of Hazardous Materials Response Teams
- Supports Director, Risk Management in Occupant Emergency Planning
- Serves as back up liaison for NE environmental as well as Kentucky Local Emergency Planning working closely with site Environmental Specialist
- Bachelor of Science in either Safety or Environmental areas preferred or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years experience
