Position Description :
FlexGen Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement and logistics management while contributing to projects that directly impact the company's operations.
Major Job Responsibilities :
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Support the procurement team in preparing and issuing purchase orders.
- Track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and alternative products.
- Assist in maintaining supplier databases and procurement documentation.
- Help with supplier performance evaluation and relationship management.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and ensure smooth processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and procurement strategies.
