The Technical Part:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and over ten (10 ) years of experience in electrical and instrumentation systems construction within industrial or engineering projects, preferably in pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or manufacturing sectors.
- Certification in electrical or instrumentation engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Availability: Fully On-Site
- Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
- Experience in:
- Safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
- Electrical and instrumentation engineering principles and standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in E&I systems.
- Commissioning, validation, and startup activities for E&I systems.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)
- Review design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve design and implementation challenges.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during installation and operational phases.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address system discrepancies.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures in all aspects of electrical and instrumentation work.
- Act as the client's representative to review submittals from the AE for electrical and equipment designs.
- In early design phases provide guidance to the AE on site electrical infrastructure concepts.
- Ensure site wide coordination of electrical design solutions.
- Review and approve electrical specifications, electrical install specifications.
- Assist in determining best main electrical routes and electrical route philosophy for the facility, assist with clash detection via 3D model throughout the design phase. Assist with system boundary definition for ease of commissioning
- Review and participate in 3D model reviews of facility and large equipment modules.
- Review space coordination and equipment routing plans into the facility during construction phase.
- Participate in constructability reviews with site construction team.
- Review SOWs and RFPs for tendering of electrical packages.
- Assist in review of selected contractor submittals and tendering advice in relation to the submittals from the main contracting engineering firm.
- Facilitate and provide oversight of the reviews on and after the transition phase between engineering designers and electrical contractor.
- Assist site construction teams and project controls teams for construction progress.
- Drive progress and coordination to ensure schedule, cost and quality targets are met.
