We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Developer / System Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using JavaScript and Node.js, working with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and assisting with basic system administration tasks as needed. Familiarity with NetSuite is a major plus. Additionally, knowledge of various Azure services (App Services, Function Apps, Storage Accounts, etc.) is highly desirable. You will work closely with our experienced team of developers and system administrators to learn and grow your skills in both areas. Please note that this is an in-office position. Successful candidates must be available to work full-time from our Hauppauge location.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain applications using JavaScript and Node.js.
- Work collaboratively with other developers to design and implement new features.
- Utilize databases, including MongoDB and PostgreSQL, for data storage and retrieval.
- Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and design solutions.
- Learn and follow best practices for software development.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues with existing code.
- Assist with system administration tasks as needed, such as managing system access and configuration.
- Provide technical expertise and support to users.
