Drafter / Detailer

Overview :

Zachary, LA – Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Drafter / Detailer to generate accurate and precise spool drawings and fabrication details in Acorn, specific to the pipe fabrication business line. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interpret isometric and orthographic drawings.

Essential Duties :

• Troubleshoot and apply critical thinking skills as applicable to drafting and detailing.
• Complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Piece mark customer isometric or orthographic drawings.
• Interact and provide workload / status feedback to the drafting supervisor.
• Support project management with drawing interpretation.
• Comply with all company Core Safety Rules, policies, and procedures.
• Report any unsafe conditions immediately to the safety department, supervisor, or management.
• Report all incidents, accidents, or injuries involving employee health and safety to management immediately.
