  • Design Group is hiring an SEO Specialist to manage all SEO activities including but not limited to content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. The SEO Specialist will identify strategies, techniques and tactics to increase the number of visitors to our DTC websites and obtain a high-ranking placement in the results page of search engines.

    Note : This is a remote role, but candidates in the Eastern and Central time zones are preferred to ensure alignment with the team's working hours.

    WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?

    • Develop website optimization strategies that increase search engine rankings.
    • Optimizes copy and landing pages for search engine optimization.
    • Performs keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
    • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success.
    • Create optimized content.
    • Understanding of H TML, CSS and JavaScript to ensure the site is accessible and easy to follow and for increased interaction with visitors.
    • Manages relationship with our SEO solution & partner(s).
    • Track and use the data from the SEO solution, web-wide context, and recommendations to optimize.
    • Implements recommendations from our SEO partners.
    • Auditing the site for technical and performance issues that affect SEO.
    • Measuring SEO rank and business results on a site-wide and page-by-page basis
    • Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
    • Develop and implement link building strategy.
    • Partner with our internal development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on website.
    • Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and site development.
    • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
    • Enabling collaboration and coordination across teams.
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
    • WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related major.
    • Proven SEO skills with 2-4 years of work experience in the SEO field, ideally working with DTC websites.
    • Outstanding copywriting and copyediting abilities.
    • In-depth experience with website analytics tools.
    • Must be proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, and Word.
    • Must be able to work within sensitive time constraints in order to meet deadlines.
    • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
    • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
    • Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.

      Minimum pay rate : $45,000 annually

      Maximum pay rate : $60,000 annually

      Qualifications :

    • Utilize industry contacts and relationships to generate leads and pursue business development opportunities.
    • Lead the work acquisition process including development of profitability plans, coordination with inter-department staff, oversight proposal development, and management of interview preparation activities.
    • Identify and communicate RFP pursuit strategy to inform project approach, staffing, estimate, risks, schedule, and logistics development.
    • Assign qualified staff to properly manage project scope and complexities.
    • Manage the preconstruction phase working closely with preconstruction and estimating teams to develop project budgets, schedules, logistics, identify project risks, and coordinate constructability reviews.
    • Provide oversight across all phases of the project from preconstruction to close-out, providing continuity from start to finish.
    • Establish a customer satisfaction action plan and ensure proper execution.
    • Identify project challenges and suggest solutions to achieve project objectives and profitability.
    • Negotiate owner contracts and oversee administration of subcontract development.
    • Provide high-level supervision across multiple projects. Lead and direct as needed to ensure goals are established and project objectives are met.
    • Oversee and attend weekly owner meetings and visit project sites regularly to monitor project performance, costs, schedule, quality, safety, and project profitability. Provide leadership in responding to challenges and address client concerns.
    • Maintain client contact throughout the project duration to encourage communication and gauge team performance.
    • Build and maintain relationships with owners, OPM’s, consultants, Government Authorities and subcontractor.
    • Mentor, train, and coach staff to meet / exceed performance standards and to attain professional growth.
    • Perform performance evaluations for reports every 6 months.
    • Ensure staff is trained and in compliance with corporate Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Assist in sourcing, and interviewing potential new hire candidates.

    Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
