POSITION SUMMARY
Flexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our Talent Acquisition team as a Sourcing Specialist at our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio! This position will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging top-tier talent to meet the hiring needs of our organization. You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific requirements of each role and develop innovative sourcing strategies to find the best candidates. This position reports directly to the Director, Talent and works alongside the Onboarding & Experience Team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Candidate Sourcing: Execute recruitment and sourcing activities, including but not limited to direct sourcing, job fairs, schools, trade and industry networking, advertisements, internet posting, social media, active resume database searches, employment agencies, employee referrals, and outreach to appropriate organizations.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified technical talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Screening: Conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidates technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the technical requirements of each role and to provide regular updates on sourcing progress.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to effectively target and attract top talent.
- Candidate Engagement: Engage with passive candidates, nurturing relationships to convert them into active applicants.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other databases.
- Data entry of new hires, employee discipline, employee status changes into HRIS
- Support the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives, such as: policies and procedures and HRIS improvements
- Support the sourcing and recruitment efforts for other positions outside of IT as needed.
- Must sit onsite at our Global Headquarters in Richmond Heights, Ohio
- Must be open to travel up to 20% of the time.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in human resources, business or similar discipline; 3-5 years experience in HR related field preferably with exposure to all facets of the field; a combination of education and experience
- Proven experience in sourcing or recruitment.
- Familiarity with various sourcing tools and techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong interpersonal, (verbal/written, and presentation), organizational, evaluation, and negotiation skills with the ability to work and build rapport with all levels are necessary to perform job at the expected level
- Able to independently use MS Office products and other technology packages including social media.
- Able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment, with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and work within critical milestones
- Strong personal and work ethics and integrity; proven track record of flexibility and professionalism
- Must possess a passionate attention to detail.
