The Opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team, supporting the organization and efficiency of our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, prepping parts for assembly, and ensuring all orders are packed and shipped correctly. Your day-to-day tasks will involve receiving incoming inventory, verifying item counts, and organizing materials in designated areas. You will also play a key role in quality inspections, efficient inventory management, and the safe operation of warehouse equipment. Requirements:
· Current Forklift license
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment
· Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
· Familiarity with the metric system and ability to use a tape measure
· Basic computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
· Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory and conduct cycle counts
· Experience in prepping materials for assembly and packing orders for shipment
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Must reside in the Twin Cities metro area
· Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Preferred:
· Experience with inventory management software and scheduling shipments
· Prior experience inspecting custom parts to ensure compliance with technical prints
· Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a warehouse setting
· Experience building custom pallets and packaging for shipment
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
