Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager looking for your next leadership opportunity in the dynamic world of flexible packaging?
About the Role:
We’re seeking a hands-on leader to oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Department at a growing company in Batavia, IL. This role involves managing mechanical, electrical, and process control systems, leading a skilled team, and driving operational improvements to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Maintenance Department, including training, performance evaluations, and day-to-day operations.
Oversee preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with Food Safety standards.
Manage installation and retrofitting of production equipment with vendors and subcontractors.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for asset management and maintenance tracking.
Drive cost control initiatives, reduce waste, and implement process improvements.
Document maintenance procedures, propose upgrades, and manage large-scale projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with expertise in troubleshooting.
Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems, and high/low voltage circuitry.
Leadership experience and proficiency with CMMS systems are highly valued.
Flexibility for on-call and weekend responsibilities.
