We are looking for a passionate and experienced Certified Pilates Instructor to join our growing team! If you have a strong foundation in Pilates instruction and want to work in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment that integrates Pilates and rehabilitation, this is the opportunity for you! Pilates instructors with physical therapy experience or rehab-based training are highly preferred.
Role Description
- Design and deliver safe, effective, and engaging Pilates programs tailored to individual client needs.
- Lead group reformer, mat, tower, and mixed equipment Pilates sessions, ensuring proper form and technique.
- Modify exercises as needed to accommodate clients of all fitness levels, abilities, and backgrounds, including those with pre-existing conditions and comorbidities.
- Promote a safe and enjoyable movement experience for all bodies by applying a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to enhance client rehabilitation, recovery, and overall wellness.
- Monitor client progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust programs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment to ensure safety and comfort.
- Foster a fun, motivating atmosphere that encourages client retention and long-term wellness.
- Be open to working some weekends to accommodate client demand.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, and body mechanics
- Pilates certification (highly preferred), but candidates with significant instructing experience will be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient/client-focused approach to enhance client experience and outcomes
- Ability to adapt sessions for clients of all fitness levels, including those with rehab needs
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team-oriented environment
- Passion for movement and a holistic approach to rehab and wellness
- Willingness to embrace and help shape the culture of a new, cutting-edge PT and Pilates studio
- CPR and First Aid Certification is a plus
- Able to be on their feet for most of their shift and lift up to 45 lbs
Employment Options
Full-Time Positions:
- Candidates must be available for a consistent schedule and willing to work some weekends.
- Full-time employees are eligible for benefits.
Part-Time/Contract Positions (1099):
- Flexible scheduling is available for part-time instructors.
