We are service and solutions professionals, providing support to medium and large businesses throughout the country. FlexTG currently manages clients in all 50 states as well as Canada and Puerto Rico.
Position Summary
The Account Manager will focus on new ‘business to business’ account development. Ranging from prospecting and cold calling to attending appointments with potential clients, this role will be involved in an exciting sales process from end to end. This role will utilize a robust skillset founded in outstanding communication and a drive to succeed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Achieve sales activity and production targets as outlined by Sales Leader.
- Develop and qualify net new clients within the respective territory or vertical market.
- Leverage cold calling and lead generation campaigns.
- Gather, utilize, and share business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls and product presentations.
- Assess customer needs during the sales process.
- Work with the Sales Representative to propose solutions and negotiate contracts.
- Foster strong client relationships through building rapport and brand equity.
- Utilize account information systems (Client Relationship Management tools) and other internal systems.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic MS Office Knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to travel offsite 50% or more as necessary to meet customer and prospect needs.
- Possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work experience in a sales environment
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Proven success with sales quotas in previous employment
