Position Summary
The Sales Manager is a full-time management position responsible for leadership, profitability, growth, and direction of sales activity within assigned market. The position will provide proactive leadership to a sales team to achieve maximum profitability and productivity that align with company vision and values.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Responsible for driving a sales team to execute on FlexPrint Equipment and Services Strategy, capabilities, standards and actions for net new and existing accounts.
• Develop and implement sales and/or marketing strategy aligned to company goals and objectives.
· Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for sales team; projecting expected sales volume and profit.
• Creates a high performing sales culture while building a strong team.
· Maintains sales team by recruiting, selecting, on-boarding, and training employees.
• Responsible for the performance and development of the sales representatives.
• Assists direct sales team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
• Ensure that each sales representative meets or exceeds all sales activity standards and KPIs.
• Leads by example for sales team in terms of lead generation, prospecting calls, demonstrations, presentations, and closing of sales.
• Conduct regular coaching and mentoring sessions that build salesperson motivation and selling skills.
• Set clear direction for sales representatives through observing and documenting performance, providing feedback and providing appropriate recognition/counseling.
• Responsible for profitable growth for assigned accounts, including contract retention and expansion, and addition of services.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
• 5 years experience selling products and services
• 3 years sales management experience preferred
• Consultative Sales experience required
