Report : VP of Technology
Education : Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering or Material Science.
Professional Experience : Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Attributes / Skills :
Interest in technical research and design
Effective communication skills
Good technical writing skills
Willingness to travel (Domestic)
Job Duties :
Research, evaluate and implement creative, innovative, and sustainable materials that lead to the growth and success of the company.
Work closely with Development Engineering staff, both independently and in conjunction with other engineers, manufacturing, and raw material suppliers to bring forward solutions that reduce cost, streamline processes, and provide innovative packaging solutions.
Develop blown film coextrusions to provide desired functionality and physical performance.
Optimize financial goals through material cost take out and waste reduction while maintaining material performance.
Support Sales through interaction with customers to solve packaging challenges.
Travel to ISOFlex manufacturing and customer sites to support development activities.
