FlexStaff is seeking a Manager of Imaging Services for our client. This role oversees all daily operational, personnel, and procedural aspects of the department to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI). This role encompasses staff management (hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation), ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards (OSHA, HIPAA, ACR), optimizing workflows for efficiency, and prioritizing patient-centered care.
Responsibilities :
Managing daily radiology operations; developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures; overseeing equipment utilization and maintenance (including vendor management and technology acquisition); collaborating with other departments to coordinate patient care; ensuring staff competency and development; maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; overseeing quality assurance programs; monitoring patient and staff safety; evaluating and recommending new technologies; analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvement strategies; and addressing patient concerns.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in radiology, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with radiology information systems (RIS), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and electronic health records (EHR).
