Flextek Resources has partnered with a Global Logistics Company located in Humble, TX area that has an immediate need for a Night Shift Distribution Operations Manager.
This is a direct hire position open due to a recent increase in business activities!!!
Need to be flexible on hours for operational needs. This is a 24 / 7 / 365 operation.
This is a night shift opportunity; the hours will be between 1030pm and 7am.
Also, looking for someone that is strong in continuous process improvement and exceptional training and development skills.
Core Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics and operations
- Team up with the Ramp Managers in order to meet operational needs
- Ensure customer satisfaction, safety, and quality to meet / exceed standards
- Confirm proper and on time delivery so there are no delays; be proactive
- Mange warehouse inventory and preserve machinery and equipment is serviced
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor for process flow and efficiency
- Conduct any audits that are requested and required to ensure compliance
- Motivate, lead, coach, and manage warehouse staff to effectively carry out tasks
- Support efforts in employee retention, evaluation, and training - heavy employee relations
- Incident / accident reporting including root cause analysis
- Maintain employee schedules - follow up via phone and email if needed
