Job Description :
Our manufacturing company in Northwest Houston is seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to lead and enhance our quality management processes. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Quality Management, specifically with a strong background in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can successfully conduct and oversee both internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with APQP and ISO standards.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects, focusing on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and optimizing product quality.
- Conduct, manage, and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company-specific quality standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Train and mentor team members on quality standards and continuous improvement principles.
Qualifications :
Preferred Certifications : Lean Six Sigma Certification, Quality Management Certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager).
