Job Title: Backend Software Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: $55/hr on W2
Must have MS in Computer Science from top schools/ Colleges In USA with at least 2 years of API development experience, Java, microservices, springboot, NoSQL Databases, Cloud Technologies. Need expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms & design patterns.
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining the server-side logic and systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and related frameworks.
- Design and implement APIs and services to support business processes.
- Work on system design, ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any performance issues.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases like SQL,Cassandra and Azure
- Design and develop relational database management systems.
- Test and deploy applications, ensuring smooth integration and functioning of systems.
- Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in relational databases like SQL and **NoSQL databases like Cassandra-
- Hands-on experience with **Azure** or other cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of **data structures and algorithms
- Understanding of **system design and architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
