What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift Paintlline Laborer Position position at Flextrude?
SCOPE / SUMMARY :
T raining and instructions will be given to ensure the employee knows how to safely load, unload, hook, unhook and setup the Paintline and how to Pack completed materials to produce the highest possible quality products at the lowest possible cost. The employee will be given goals for housekeeping, safety, quality, Complete On Time Delivery and production goals. Training and instructions will be given to ensure that the employee follows all company policies, practices and procedures in order to meet and exceed customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
Work a 7 pm to 7 am shift
Hook and Unhook small and large sized aluminum extrusions onto Paint line
Hang aluminum extrusions correctly on line to go into the paint booth
Perform line changes
Assemble finished parts after they have been painted
Unload painted material in a damage free manner
Ensure quality standards are being met
Display flexibility and motivation to work in various departments of the plant as needed
Get involved in other duties including cleanup and inventory counts.
- Fork Lift Candidates will take a Test to Certify the Operation of a Forklift Safely.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Mechanical Aptitude desired.
Working experience in a manufacturing production operation preferred.
Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
Experience working safely in a team oriented environment preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, employees are required to stand for up to 12 hours per shift
Salary : $16 - $17
