- The contract will be working in Wausau 75% of the time and will then travel to Aspirus Grand View in Ironwood, MI for the remainder 25% of the time. When they travel to MI, Aspirus will put them up in a hotel as they will be assigned to work the entire week up there as to not have to travel back and forth as often.

3.Required skills and minimum years of experience. Skills may include anything from Surgical (Ortho, Neuro, CV, etc.) Family Practice, Cardiology, Geriatrics, etc.At least two years working near full time hours in a sleep lab / center
4.Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (BLS, ACLS, NCCPA / AANP) Is a national certification required? Is a DEA, Prescriptive Authority required?Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), CPR
5.Shift or schedule requirements. (What support staff are in the clinic; Is a doctor available by phone, in the clinic, etc.) Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?Working three consecutive 12 hr NIGHT shifts per week between Monday and Friday
6.Number of patients in a day; who do they have as support staff?2 patients per tech per night. In Wausau, most shifts they’ll have a colleague working with them. In Grandview, they will be working alone. Will do a couple of nights of orientation with them initially.
7.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
8.Dress Code : Either scrubs or business casual with closed toed shoes.
9.Tell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program.Expect to not give them more than three nights of orientation / training. Will partner up with a preceptor those first nights.
Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation Please note on occasion travelers could be required to float to other facilities in the Central Region : Wausau, Merrill, and Langlade
