Job Title: Warehouse Associate

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Overtime pay (applied 12 hours in one day and 40 hours/week)

Salary Range: $17-$18.50/hour

The position being offered is a seasonal role, running from May to October, with both part-time and full-time hours available. While it is a temporary position, there is potential for some individuals to be offered full-time roles after the season ends. We're looking to fill both morning and afternoon shifts, which offers flexible options for part-time or full-time work during our busy season.

FLEXX Productions, a premier event rental company based out of Fort Collins, is looking for a committed Warehouse Associate to join the team! The ideal candidate will preferably have a minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, and/or inventory control. Driving experience is welcomed.

Job Summary:

This role focuses on maintaining quality control within the warehouse, ensuring all products meet our standards for cleanliness and functionality before they are dispatched for any order. This includes items like tents, tables, chairs, linens, and flooring used in event rentals.

A key responsibility is to ensure all event inventory and equipment are loaded safely and efficiently onto vehicles for delivery. The role also involves unloading returned products, assessing them for any damages, tracking missing items, and restocking everything in the correct warehouse locations, so they are clean and ready for the next event.

You will also be in charge of evaluating product quality, preparing orders for dispatch in specific areas, and loading vehicles according to scheduled routes. Success in this position requires effective communication with team members across different departments, a keen eye for detail, a willingness to assist others, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. The role may also include multi-craft tasks such as repair work or product maintenance as needed.

Job requirements:

• Clean, package, & label product to the company’s standard procedure and expectations
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and all departments to relay any applicable important information including, but not limited to: Damaged/Missing product, Incorrect inventory counts, Ideas for system improvements
• Testing product upon return and prior to sending out to ensure effective use
• Assess contract details and specialty notes to ensure product is loaded on vehicles efficiently and in correspondence with what needs to be most accessible event installers to set first on site
• Load vehicles to standard procedure for safe travel, unload efficiency on site, and with all necessary tools for event installers to execute installation
• Complete accurate paperwork counts and procedures at all times given FLEXX’s current system and training
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance by wearing a uniform and adhering FLEXX dress code
• Ability to pack and organize effectively.

Physical Demands:

Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, and repetitively lift. Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 25 – 50 pounds. Ability to push a hand truck up to 60 feet, over curbs and up ramps. Ability to step up and down distances of 12” to 29” and use a ladder at heights up to 16’. Ability to use manual pallet jacks on sometimes slightly imperfect surfaces up to 1,000 pounds up to 60 feet pushing or pulling. Ability to Put up to 5 - 40 lb. boxes in storage areas.

Time commitment:

This position requires availability Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend hours depending on the event schedule. We have both full-time positions (35-45 hours per week) and part-time positions (15-30 hours per week) available.

Hiring Timeline:

Phone and in-person interviews to be conducted April 9th- April 18th. We are looking to conduct a few hiring rounds with the first start date as early as April 16th and the next April 30th. These may adjust as event schedules change.
