The Line Leads monitor the progress of projects, ensuring quality standards are met in alignment with continued customer satisfaction. Assisting the Plant Manager / Supervisor, including but not limited to the following duties below.
Monday - Thursday & Fridays as needed (5pm-3am
Key Responsibilities
Review the line instruction sheet for each project and communicate the run rules to their team before starting a project.
Before beginning any project verify that equipment is clean and free of defects.
Inspect equipment to ensure it meets the specifications for each project.
Set up inspection equipment prior to running a project.
Verify the labels and quantities of each pallet.
Fill out all documentation required for each project.
Assist the team with any tasks when needed.
Participate in the inspection process and complete the paperwork associated with each project.
Comply with the seed check policy.
Provide appropriate information to the plant leadership before, during, and after each project.
Other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Ability to view / watch the monitor and positively identify test seeds during routine seed checks.
Must have a sense of urgency.
Flexibility to work overtime based on business needs.
Must have basic math, reading, and writing skills.
English / Spanish
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach, walk and sit.
