Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Social Marketing Student Internship at Flickfinder in Boston, MA. As a Social Marketing Intern, you will support the marketing team in expanding our online presence, creating engaging content, and driving user engagement across various social media platforms. You will be involved in planning and executing marketing strategies, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to amplify Flickfinder's brand. This role is perfect for creative and motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic startup environment.
Note: This is an unpaid position. Relocation is not required, although you must be a U.S. citizen.
Here’s What You’ll Do Day-to-day
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and user engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, written posts) across social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities, and develop creative campaigns to capitalize on them.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support in organizing marketing events, contests, and campaigns to drive growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create visually appealing and impactful marketing materials.
- Assist in research and outreach efforts to potential partners, influencers, and collaborators.
Here's What We're Looking For
- Attend an accredited 4-year university
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong understanding of the Instagram algorithm and how to leverage it for growth.
- Familiar with growth hacking techniques to quickly scale user acquisition and engagement.
- Experience identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends in the digital landscape.
Available to start by November 1st for the Fall cohort.
Available to start by December 15th for the Winter cohort.
