Job Description:
As a Superintendent for new construction single-family houses, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the building process, from project initiation to final delivery. You will play a critical role in coordinating and managing on-site activities, working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Construction Supervision: Provide on-site supervision and direction to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that construction milestones and deadlines are met. Proactively identify potential delays and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Manage the allocation of resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on quality control, conducting regular inspections to ensure that workmanship meets company standards and adheres to building codes and regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety on the construction site, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring that all workers and contractors adhere to safety guidelines and practices.
- Cost Management: Monitor project expenses and budget, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Provide regular updates on budget status to project stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Address construction-related challenges promptly and effectively. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
- Communication: Foster open and transparent communication with the project team, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks.
- Client Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, keeping them informed about construction progress and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and other relevant records.
- Coordinate distribution of project drawings and engineering information to Contractor(s)
- Assist with resolution of construction conflicts
- Walks product to ensure quality standards are being met at various stages of progress
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a residential new construction superintendent
- New construction background
- Strong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships
- Strong experience in delivering high quality customer service programs
- High school degree or equivalent required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
