Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs, educate them about various strains and consumption methods, and ensure a positive shopping experience in our dispensary.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs.
- Educate customers about different strains, effects, and consumption methods to help them make informed decisions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring all items are properly labeled and priced.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process sales and manage inventory.
- Upsell products by suggesting complementary items based on customer interests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dispensary to create a welcoming environment.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
Experience
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred, particularly in the cannabis industry.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of cannabis products, including knowledge of various strains and their effects.
- Must have applied for OMMA credentials.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
