Flight Power Repair Group, LLC. is a privately held corporation headquartered in Doral, Florida specializing in providing MRO solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets. We specialize in the repair and overhaul of commercial jet engine components for CFMI CFM56-ALL Series, GE CF6-80C, CF34-ALL Series, Rolls Royce RB211 and Pratt & Whitney PW4000. We also offer repair and overhaul services for industrial turbine components on the Pratt & Whitney GG4/FT4, and GG8/FT8 aero-derivative gas turbines. In addition, Flight Power Repair Group provides a wide range of specialized services for engines, aircraft and landing gear applications which include; Vacuum Heat Treat, Solution and Precipitation Heat Treat, Stress Relief, Shotpeening, Plasma Spray, Cleaning, Ultrasonic Inspection, FPI & FMPI, Welding, Machining, protective coating applications.
The Aviation Parts Repair Shop Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of aircraft components and parts that have undergone repair or refurbishment. This position requires a detail-oriented and experienced individual dedicated to ensuring all parts meet stringent regulatory and safety standards, while adhering to both internal procedures and industry regulations. The inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and quality of aircraft systems by meticulously inspecting parts before they are cleared for return to service.
General Responsibilities:
· Conduct visual and physical inspections of repaired aircraft parts, including engines, airframes, avionics, and landing gear components.
· Verify compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and other applicable aviation regulations and standards.
· Use precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to assess the integrity and dimensional accuracy of parts.
· Review technical documentation, including repair reports, part specifications, and engineering drawings, to ensure proper procedures were followed during the repair process.
· Document inspection findings, and maintain accurate records of part inspections, including pass/fail results and discrepancies.
· Identify defects or non-conformance issues and collaborate with the repair team to recommend corrective actions or additional repairs.
· Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic, eddy current, and dye penetrant inspection as required. – FOR NDT INSPECTOR ONLY
· Ensure compliance with quality control processes and industry safety standards at all stages of the inspection process.
· Collaborate with engineers, repair technicians, and other personnel to resolve technical issues and improve inspection processes.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technical developments, and regulatory changes related to aircraft parts and repair.
· Support audits, internal inspections, and investigations as needed to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification in aircraft maintenance, avionics, or a related field preferred.
· Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, parts, and materials, as well as aviation regulatory standards (FAA, EASA, etc.).
· Proficient in using precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
· Certification in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) or other relevant technical certifications is a plus.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
· Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Must pass background checks and comply with safety regulations.

Working Conditions:
· Work is primarily performed in a repair shop or hangar environment.
· Requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift moderate weights (up to 50 pounds).
· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
· May require occasional travel or overtime depending on workload and deadlines..
Requirements:

· Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, such as ultrasonic, eddy current, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle testing, is required. NDT Level I, II, or III certification preferred. – If Applicable for position
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
· Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
