Strong analytical and design skills, who also enjoy the hands-on aspects of building and prototyping. The candidate should be excited about fast paced technical problems. We are looking for motivated problem solvers who can communicate clearly and work well in a team.
Responsibilities May Include:
10 weeks (June - Aug) negotiable
A successful candidate should have a portfolio of school/personal/engineering projects

Responsibilities May Include:
- Metallic part design & analysis
- Design of composite structures
- 3D printed and injection molded plastic part design
- Handbook and FEA based structural sizing
- Project schedule/budget management
- Prototype fabrication
- Presentation material for both internal and client review
- Structural and propulsion test data acquisition and synthesis
- Applicants should have completed at least two years of education toward a four year engineering degree.
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques; composites molding, machining, 3D printing
- Hands on experience building and prototyping
- Familiarity with aircraft or unmanned aircraft (UAV, UAS, drone) is a strong plus
- Must be a U.S. Person
- Solidworks (Simulation a plus)
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Google Suite (google sheets, docs, slides)
- MATLAB experience a plus
- Familiarity with project management tools
- Familiarity with hand tools used for light prototyping (drills, Dremel's, etc)
- Strong communication and writing skills
