What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Supervisor position at Flightstar Aircraft Services?
Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify compliance of the processes, controls and procedures described in Flightstar’s Security Program. |
Evaluate threat levels and implement strategies to ensure customer assist and Flightstar employee’s physical security. |
Investigate criminal acts, vandalism and any other misconduct made by Flightstar's personnel, subcontracts or visitors, which violate the policies or internal regulations of the company, as well. Prepare the reports and investigations to execute the corrective actions. |
Assist with investigating other incidents as requested. |
Analyze and recommend methods and procedures to achieving efficiency in the security area. |
Efficiently and effectively manage CCTV software and cameras. |
Supervise and evaluate the contracted security services received. |
Abide by approved department budget. |
Oversee access control to the facility, issuing badges and maintaining accurate repository in badging software. |
Facilitate the drug and alcohol program, ensuring Flightstar maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements. |
Be the Liaison Officer with the governmental, airport and regulatory authorities, as well as with Fligjhtstar’s clients, to address security issues. |
Apply local and international regulations, procedures and laws regarding security. |

Education and Required skills:
Academic Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree or former military or police preferred |
High School diploma (or GED equivalent) |

Languages |
English required; Spanish preferred |
Previous Experience |
At least five (5) years of experience in a security position. |
One (1) year aviation experience |

Technical Skills |
Position requires general understanding in Microsoft Word and Outlook and excel. |
