Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads all catering events, ensuring each one is detailed from start to finish.
- Leads catering event logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and all related activities.
- Collaborates with the Executive Chef to develop innovative and appealing menus.
- Trains and mentors catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and outstanding customer service.
- Tracks and monitors labor and food costs for each event to ensure budgetary compliance.
- Communicates effectively with management, clients, customers, and associates, maintaining excellent relationships.
- Assists with all foodservice-related activities, ensuring they align with our high standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the success of our catering operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of food service experience, including at least 1 year in a management role.
- Validated catering experience is crucial.
- Knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation.
- Strong financial, budgetary, and accounting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet.
- ServSafe Certification is suggested.
