Food Service Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Food Service Utility Worker to join our dynamic team. As a Food Service Utility Worker, you will be responsible for washing dishes , utensils during dining service as well as pots, pans and other items in a 3 compartment sink. Must be capable of lifting, disposing of garbage , sweeping and mopping of floors in kitchen areas.

Duties:

• The Foodservice position ensures kitchen work area,equipment and utensils are clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and Mops Floors at appropriate intervals along with safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the kitchen, dining room, and outdoor spaces.
• Removes Trash and garbage, places it in designated containers, cleans out garbage containers as needed.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service.
• Handles supplies and equipment between storage and work areas utilizing all safety and lifting standards.
• Assists with loading and unloading of delivered items and products.
• Distributes supplies,utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the success of the foodservice operation.
• Complies with all safety and sanitation requirements.

Skills:

• Experience in the food service industry.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling practices.
• Ability to assist in all areas as needed.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene,safety and sanitation.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to help with tasks as needed to support the foodservice operations success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week
