Our Concept
A contemporary restaurant, FLINT by Baltaire is an innovative take on American fare accented with coastal Mediterranean and bold Middle Eastern flavors - mixing a modern aesthetic with authentic service to deliver classic wood-fired dishes. FLINT serves dinner daily, plus a weekday and all-day Sunday happy hour inside an elegant, indoor-outdoor space in the heart of Phoenix's Biltmore area. 'Upstairs at FLINT' is an open-air rooftop cocktail lounge open daily, boasting sweeping city and mountain views of Phoenix's Biltmore neighborhood. Pairing chef-crafted bites and premium cocktails, it's the perfect spot to unwind with friends and soak in those postcard-perfect Arizona sunsets or host a private cocktail reception under the stars. Seating is first-come, first-served and due to seating capacities, a waitlist may be available.
What We Expect :
Hosts will reports to the Baltaire Management team to oversee all matters of communication between the restaurant, managers, and guests. This includes the direction of OpenTable, holidays, incident solutions and guest requests. Essential and other important responsibilities and duties mayinclude, but are not limited to the below;
Responsibilities :Ideal Candidate Will Have :
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a service-oriented or administrative position within a customer-faced environment (ideally fine dining).
- Must have OpenTable experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate, college degree.
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- Punctual, regular and reliable attendance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- 16.00 - $20.00 per hour pooled tips
