Event Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Duties

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, venue selection, and entertainment.
• Develop event budgets and manage expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure contracts and services for events.
• Oversee event marketing efforts to promote events effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events.
• Manage on-site event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure all event details are executed as planned.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Experience in hospitality or banquet management is preferred.
• Knowledge of catering services and event management best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in event marketing strategies to enhance visibility and attendance.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
