Shipping and Receiving Manager

Responsible for supervising all aspects of company’s warehouse functions. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Manager is accountable for safe, efficient, accurate, and timely warehouse shipping and receiving operations.

These operations include receiving, storage, order processing, shipping, inventory management, and warehouse facility management. The applicant will be held accountable for scheduling the appropriate staff, monitoring their progress, and maintaining accurate inventory at all times.

Responsibilities

• Ensures warehouse activities are intensely focused on, while providing internal/external customers with exceptional service
• Supervise warehouse activities to ensure accurate receipt of materials and monitoring the security of all assets being directed through the facility
• Ensure orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate employees and locations
• Maintains inventory accuracy to meet company objectives within Standard Operating Procedures and cycle counting guidelines
• Assist in modifying materials management procedures, improving efficiency, and ensuring consistency among distribution locations.
• Creates and provides reports as required.
• Maintains warehouse in a clean and orderly manner while ensuring optimization and safety remain priority
• Supervise employees’ schedules and workload, setting standards for performance, and ensuring compliance with company policy
• Provides training and assistance for new employees and participates in cross training with other departments
• Deliver performance reviews and other feedback to help develop employees.
• Supervise efficient workflow of customer orders and deployment of required materials.
• Supervise the RMA process, including, shipping, tracking, and inventory verification.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years experience of increasing responsibility, in logistic field.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
