This role is on site at our headquarters in Wichita, KS and offers a hybrid schedule, providing you with flexibility and work/life balance.
What You Will Do
* Contribute to machine learning platforms - from writing data pipelines, integrating data from certain source systems, assisting in deploying machine learning models, facilitating platform upgrades, to contributing to in house machine learning ops packages.
* Collaborate with a team of talented professionals, including business stakeholders, analysts, and fellow engineers, to understand software requirements and transform them into efficient and scalable applications.
* Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art software solutions that streamline our operations, enhance productivity, and drive business growth.
* Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects or performance issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.
* Foster a culture of excellence by conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring junior team members to help them reach their full potential.
* Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our software engineering capabilities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* 1 years' professional experience working with machine learning concepts
* 1 years' professional experience with Infrastructure as code; AWS CDK, SST, Terraform, etc.
* 2 years of professional software engineering experience with at least one programming language; Python or TypeScript/JavaScript preferred along with an understanding SOLID programming principles
* 1 years' experience with AWS Serverless Services
* 1 years' experience of creating REST / GraphQL APIs
What Will Put You Ahead
* 1 years' work experience with the C3.ai platform
* 1 years' work experience with machine learning systems; data pipelining, deploying ml models; writing code to support timeseries forecasting or classification ML models
* 1 years' work experience with AWS SageMaker, Event Bridge, SQS, S3
* 1 years' building websites via low-code and high-code tooling; React, Redux, RxJS
* 1 years' work experience with containers or Kubernetes
* Experience with agile software development methodologies, Git, and issue tracking tools, enabling seamless collaboration within cross-functional teams
* Experience in the energy, refinery, or manufacturing industry
