The Civil Project Manager Role
This position oversees the planning and execution of construction projects involving earthwork, serving as a liaison between Flintco, owners, major subcontractors, architects, and engineers. The project manager provides valuable input based on their construction expertise to benefit the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring compliance with Flintco's guidelines.
- Collaborate with management to select and assign project personnel.
- Review subcontractor selections, contract arrangements, and proposed materials and shop drawings.
- Ensure accurate project schedules and necessary administrative prerequisites.
- Maintain open communication with project personnel, stakeholders, and clients.
- Closely monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure timely completion.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Detailed construction project planning, scheduling, and estimation skills using personal computers and standard software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and perform calculations.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra, and proficiency in basic software programs.

P6, Procore, BIM 360, Newforma, e-Builder, Microsoft Project/Office
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management.
