ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Brand Coordinator at Flip Flop Shops will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships with our various brands. The ideal candidate will have prior retail buying and inventory planning experience, along with a deep understanding of the franchise business model. They will study current market trends, develop streamlined product assortments, conduct category & brand reviews, and assist in general sales growth and inventory optimization strategies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the current brand portfolio and seek new brand opportunities across the footwear and accessories categories, including collaborations and SMUs.
• Meet with brand partners regularly to review shop and item performance, discuss new products and merchandising opportunities, and negotiate exclusive discounts and programs.
• Collect and share product catalogs for each major season and ATS reports as available.
• Lead inventory planning efforts by analyzing shop-level inventory counts, tracking sell-through rates, and identifying replenishment needs to help franchisees maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with franchisees and brand partners to develop demand forecasts, prevent overstock or stockouts, and create effective inventory management strategies.
• Advise franchisees on seasonal buying, ensuring strategic product assortments that align with sales trends and regional needs.
• Communicate new programs, pre-book deadlines, and major announcements to franchisees.
• Conducted category reviews, analyzed data, and presented strategic findings to the internal team, franchisees, and brand partners.
• Maintain sales rep directories and B2B platforms for franchisee reference.
• Assist with additional projects and programs as necessary.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2 years of retail buying and inventory planning experience in the footwear and/or apparel sector.
• 2 years of experience running reports and analyzing data.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with reporting software a plus.
• Proven ability to develop and execute inventory planning strategies, including demand forecasting and replenishment models.
• Understanding of POS operation and inventory management.
• Understanding of the product supply chain for footwear, apparel, and accessories.
• Must have a keen eye for current market trends.
• Attention to detail, organization, and follow-through in execution of tasks and projects.
• Proactively seek out opportunities to support the team, create excitement, and foster positivity.
• Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Enjoy being a team player on a small but highly motivated team.

Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
