Position Summary:
Flippin Loan is looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Private Money Loan Processor to join our team. You’ll be responsible for managing the entire loan lifecycle—from application to funding—for real estate investors using our short-term, asset-based financing solutions.
We pride ourselves on moving flippin' fast—often closing in under a week—so we need someone who can keep up without cutting corners. Experience with private money lending and fluency in Mortgage Automator is a huge plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review new loan submissions for accuracy and completeness in accordance with FlippinLoan.com lending guidelines
- Use Mortgage Automator to process, track, and manage all loan files and communication
- Order and analyze title commitments, insurance policies, appraisals, entity documents, and other supporting materials
- Maintain proactive communication with borrowers, appraisers, title agents, and insurance providers
- Prepare complete loan files for underwriting and follow up on missing or pending items
- Ensure loans meet all compliance requirements and investor criteria
- Coordinate with internal team members to meet tight turnarounds
- Identify potential issues or red flags early and escalate as needed
- Maintain accurate notes and milestones in the loan origination software to ensure visibility across the team
- Receive and accurately file lending documents
- Deliver an excellent borrower experience from start to finish
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of real estate documents, title reports, escrow, and entity structures (LLC, Corp, Trusts)
- Basic knowledge of underwriting criteria and risk evaluation
- Comfortable navigating appraisals, insurance binders, payoff statements, and other vendor docs
- Ability to manage multiple files with competing deadlines
- Tech-savvy, process-driven, and detail-obsessed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in loan processing or operations, ideally in private/hard money lending
- Strong familiarity with Mortgage Automator (or a similar LOS)
- Experience with fix-and-flip, bridge, or rental investment loans
- Familiarity with Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana real estate markets
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $53,000–$60,000/year depending on experience
- Bonus Opportunity: Coming soon – earn kickbacks on each loan closed
- Schedule: 40 hours/week M-F; choose 8–4 or 9–5 shifts
