• Receiving Shipments:
  • Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or shipping documents.
  • Check for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to management or vendors.
  • Sort and organize incoming products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Label or tag items as needed and store them in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Shipping Orders:
  • Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled and packaged.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery dates.
  • Ensure shipments are sent according to customer specifications and timelines.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist with inventory control by helping, when possible, in performing regular stock counts and ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
  • Assisting with monitoring warehouse space and ensure goods are organized and stored efficiently.
  • Report any stock shortages or discrepancies to supervisor/management.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate logs of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for shipments, returns, and inventory adjustments/moves.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Properly operate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
• Maintaining Respectful Relationships with Vendors and Drivers:

• Establish and maintain positive, respectful relationships with vendors, delivery drivers, and all external partners to foster smooth communication and timely deliveries.
• Treat all individuals professionally, ensuring that interactions are courteous and constructive.
• Collaborate with drivers and vendors to address any logistical issues or delays in a respectful manner, ensuring efficient resolution of concerns.
• Act as a representative of the company in all interactions, ensuring that the company’s reputation is upheld and that partners feel valued and respected.
• Provide clear, friendly, and effective communication to ensure the timely exchange of necessary information regarding shipments or delivery requirements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

• Proven experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk or similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
• Familiarity with shipping software and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, 401 K and Paid Vacation (After 90 Days)
Salary Range: Based on experience, Up to $20/Hr (Based on Experience)

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
40 Hours
