The role involves overseeing daily and monthly accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow analysis, and reconciliations. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and customers, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

Job responsibilities include:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor payments and customer invoices; oversee collections and resolve payment issues; manage vendor credits and terms.
- Cash Flow Analysis: Monitor and analyze daily cash flow to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Reconciliations: Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Statements & Reports: Prepare and distribute accurate financial statements, monthly reports, and rebate program accruals.
- Budget Variance Analysis: Analyze budget variances, providing detailed explanations and actionable recommendations to management.
- Monthly Reporting: Compile monthly financial reports to aid in decision-making processes.
- Rebate Program Accruals: Manage the accruals and reporting for rebate programs.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and post accurate journal entries, maintaining proper documentation.
- Collaboration: Work cooperatively with staff, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
- Compliance & Tax: Assist with tax preparation, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations; support internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
- Proficiency in GAAP ERP systems is required (Business Central ERP system is preferred.)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Salary: $65,000–$85,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Benefits package (After 90 Days): Medical, Dental, 401 K and paid vacation.
