Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner and Busser/barback to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. This position also requires someone who works hard to help keep the venue clean and maintain the quality of appearance throughout the venue.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by communicating order details and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
• Handle cash transactions as needed, ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.
• Support the overall operations of the restaurant by assisting with various tasks as required.
• For Bussers: Making sure the dining area and restrooms are clean and upkept.
• Constantly checking the bathrooms for cleanliness and replacing toilet paper, paper towels and other products that will keep the space clean.
• Clearing the dining booths and bar areas from empty and used cups as well as sweeping and mopping floors that need attention.

Skills

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or catering, is preferred.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
• Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• A commitment to cleanliness and maintaining high hygiene standards within the restaurant environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
