Flix North America is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Manager of Internal Communications & Events to join our corporate communications team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, this role is pivotal in developing and executing strategies that set the standard for world-class employee engagement and communication.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green
Design and implement internal communication strategies that align with company goals, focusing on informing and inspiring employees about the company’s vision, cultural values, business strategy, and key initiativesDevelop and manage the internal communications and events calendar for the North America region, supporting our two brands, Flix and Greyhound. Collaborate closely with the regional senior management, field employee communications manager, and the HQ internal communications team to ensure alignmentDrive the successful communication of organizational initiatives, HR programs, and change management projects through impactful campaigns and events. Facilitate regular communication from the management team and other stakeholders to employees across various channels, including the intranet, town halls, email, events, and internal mediaOversee the company’s intranet, ensuring an engaging look and feel, managing content creation, and measuring employee engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and share compelling content that aligns with organizational goalsProactively develop innovative event ideas, campaigns, and formats aligned with the internal communications roadmap and business opportunities, ensuring consistency and creativity across all touchpointsPlan, organize, and execute a variety of internal events, including digital, hybrid, and on-site formats such as town halls, team gatherings, large-scale company events, and other special occasionsManage all aspects of event planning and execution, including project management and overseeing external agencies for larger eventsYour Profile – Ready to hop on board
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of work experience in internal communications within a global company, managing audiences in diverse locations and work settingsExcellent writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear viewpoints on complex issues and create concise, well-written narrativesInnovative, 360° strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach, understanding the core needs of the businessProven experience in planning and coordinating corporate events, campaigns, roadshows, and major internal initiativesExperience developing and managing an editorial calendar, creating engaging content across various channels, formats, and planning for both long and short termsStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, adept at sourcing content from various departments and stakeholders, with a talent for networking, listening, and gathering informationExpertise in developing creative, effective approaches to reach diverse audiences through visual storytelling, video production, social media, and multimedia experimentation. Familiarity with virtual event platforms such as MS Teams is essentialProven ability to creatively solve problems, manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities, demonstrating superior organizational skills, efficient time management, and meticulous attention to detailProficiency in creative tools and technology to generate and publish visually appealing content. Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is a plusComfortable working in a fast-paced environment, showing initiative and adaptabilityExperience as speaker, host, moderator, and interviewer is a plusStrong experience in managing budgets and expense trackingExperience creating metrics to measure communication effectiveness, reach, and engagementExperience in executive-level communications within a large organization is highly desirableOur Perks – More than just a job
