What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Barista position at Float Hollywood?
Full service coffee shop in the heart of Hollywood, looking to bring on an excellent Lead Barista!
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for coffee shop life and a solid coffee knowledge to lead our team. Candidates must have at least 3 years experience at a 3rd wave coffee shop.
Pay is starting $19 tip ($8-10 per hour)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drinks and make sure all drinks served are consistently per our quality standards
- Train new staff
- suggest new menu items
- make sure the cafe is clean at all times
- restock shelves
- prepare inventory and orders to suppliers
- solve any issue that arises within the team
- cover shifts when other baristas can't make it
- Ensure customers have a great experience, listen to their feedback and resolve any complaints
Requirements:
3 years barista experience
- strong coffee shop knowledge including espresso dial in and solid latte art
- excellent customer service skills
