We provide Lab services via a mobile app to our clients all over NJ. Perm/Temp/Coverages.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and UDS samples from patients in various locations such as day program facilities, inpatient and out. Your primary goal will be to ensure accurate and efficient collection of blood/urine specimens while providing exceptional patient service.
Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients-
- Collect Urine Drug Screens following SOP procedures
- Follow established laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
- Provide excellent patient service by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper specimen collection and delivery
- Perform basic laboratory techniques and procedures as required
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or similar role
- Proficient in laboratory techniques and procedures
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience with venipuncture and other blood collection methods
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory operations and equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Knowledge of vital signs measurement is a plus
