What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Truck Crew Member position at FLOCK Food Truck Park?
We are looking for passionate individuals to join the team on our house truck, Byrdies at FLOCK Food Truck Park! Starting pay is $14-$15/hr TIPS. This is a great opportunity to work alongside culinary experts while utilizing fresh local ingredients. We encourage creativity in menu development & specials. This is the perfect stepping stone for someone wanting to operate their own truck in the future or become a permanent fixture within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Stock inventory and rotate food items as needed
- Assist with serving food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service required
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including weekends and holidays
