ACCOUNT MANAGER
FLOGISTIX is an oil and gas optimization company that uses an engineered approach to help customers with their compression and emissions compliance needs. FLOGISTIX has developed a new line of compression systems, the FX series, designed to meet all wellhead compression and vapor recovery applications. Our industry leading control panel, the LOGIX PLC, monitors all compressor functions giving our customers total control and increased production. All units include satellite telemetry and are available on our unique 30 day rental contracts. FLOGISTIX offers no charge well analysis with economic justification in our Petroleum Engineering Department for our valued customers. Our custom fabrication department can work with you to design equipment for purchase to meet your needs in: electric or gas engine compression packages, vapor recovery units, gas lift units, water injection plants, fluid transfer systems, and ASME code vessels.
The Watford City, ND based sales representative will be responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts and targeted sales growth with new customers. The Northern Region Account Manager will increase our compression and pump sales and profitability by engaging with clients to provide solutions. Candidates must be committed to providing compelling value propositions for our products, providing technical support, and conducting training to new and repeat customers within the region.
Job Duties:
- Participate with management in evaluating regional sales potential and meeting targeted sales goals
- Engage and coordinate with Flogistix service teams to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction
- Communicate with Flogistix regional account managers to leverage existing relationships in other areas.
- Determine individualized sales potential for new and existing customers through inquiry, observation or periodical research
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations of products to new and existing customers
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order for applications engineering to properly size and recommend specific products
- Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
- Monitor production uplift to promote additional sales
- Increase business and account base by finding and qualifying new business accounts through timely, fully executed contracts and agreements
- Learn and apply new product knowledge to enhance sales and personal professionalism
- Assist clients with special requests and problems (supply information, resolve complaints, etc.)
- Visit field locations with customers as needed to verify facility needs and requirements
- Prepare and present quotations
- Communicate and explain to management any unexpected increases or decreases in demand for compression
- Follow company policies, procedures, and EHS training
- Remain current on product and industry knowledge by attending periodic sales meetings, trade shows, or reading trade journals
- Practice honesty and integrity in customer and vendor relations
- Maintain technical and computer capability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers via email and our proprietary sales/service portal
- Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
- Occasionally participate in oil and gas related functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
